ACEO stands for “Art Cards, Editions and Originals.”
Each card measures 2.5 " by 3.5 ".
ACEO cards can be collected or traded. They also make great gifts! Cards
are also sold either as originals or editions.
I make my ACEO out of MDF (1/4" thick), which is
sandpapered and then enthusiastically 'decorated' with
Gesso, Fabric, Tissue paper and acrylic paint. And sometimes other stuff.
As I do want them to be displayed I attach a hook on the back. A moveable
feast so to speak...

These are deeply textured and sculptured works that I created using many ingredients.
They are totally original and hand-painted with extreme care and attention to detail.

OTHER STUFF
I have created ink and pen drawings for a long long time
(on paper, stone and slate) but have never displayed
them anywhere. Recently I came across a book by the late George
Melly (jazz and blues singer, critic, writer and collector of modern
paintings) about Scottie
Wilson and that was the end of hiding my work away.
Not that I have any intention of comparing myself with Scottie but because
here was someone who liked his 'lines'
as much as I do. Right now I'm busy creating a large scale ink drawing.
And I will be experimenting with colour...
